Technical characteristics of the material:
extruded quarry tiles are made from one of the most resistant materials on the market, a mixture of clay and water fired at high temperatures. This firing method gives the tiles their characteristic hardness, high resistance to wear and tear, compression and changes in temperature. All these features mean they are frequently used for exterior paving. Quarry tiles can have a rough or glazed finish. The glaze makes the material completely non-absorbent and after post-laying acid washing, it requires no further treatment. Whereas unglazed quarry tiles should be given a stain protection treatment with solvent-based products.
