FILA Surface Care Solutions for initial cleaning of 1300 m² of unglazed porcelain tile flooring in the most important Volvo dealership in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Reasons for cleaning
Four months after refurbishment of the dealership, the floor, which had not been adequately cleaned after installation, still showed slight residues of grout, making maintenance of the floor difficult as it attracted dirt, tyre marks and various other stains due to through traffic.
Cleaning
The porcelain tiles were first washed and degreased with PS87 PRO (diluted 1:5) to remove tyre and oil marks. This was followed by DETERDEK PRO acid descaler (diluted 1:3), to remove grout residues. Once clean, the floor’s original pale-grey/blue colour tone and brilliance was restored. To preserve the beauty of this surface, FILA recommended a programme of ordinary maintenance with CLEANER PRO and PS87 PRO for extraordinary maintenance.
