A Fila Surface Care regimen was specifically designed for The Hive, a partnership between Worcestershire County Council and the University of Worcester, Europe's first joint university and public library. Located on a former dilapidated site in the Worcester city center, the landmark building was designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, for Galliford Try. The recommended stone treatments included FILACLEANER Concentrated All Surface Cleaner, FILAW68, and FILAPS87 Heavy Duty Cleaner for regular cleaning. The established Fila cleaning and protection program began after installation, using FILACLEANER to initially wash all sandstone surfaces. The stone was then treated with LEED-compliant FILAW68, a stain proofing sealer designed for interior and exterior porous surfaces. The water based, non film-forming treatment seals and protects without altering surface appearance. FILACLEANER was chosen for ongoing maintenance along with FILAPS87 for periodic deep cleaning. FILAPS87 is a 3-in-1 cleaner, stain remover and stripper.
