In Turin's Porta Palazzo district, one of the oldest areas of the capital of Piedmont, renowned architect Massimiliano Fuksas designed the Palafuksas, a building with large, translucent, glass façades housing offices and restaurants and soon becoming a symbol of contemporary architecture. In order to protect the 2,600 square meters of floor tile in Brazilian green slate, Fuksas’s studio chose a surface treatment that would guarantee the best protection and show off the color of the slate. The Bergantin brothers, Fila Treatment Experts, took on this challenging task. The work took more than a month to complete and used the following Fila products: DETERDEK Grout Haze Remover, FILAPS87 Heavy Duty Cleaner, FILACLEANER Concentrated All Surface Cleaner, FILANO SPOT Oil Stain Remover, FILAHP98, a water repellent sealer, FILAPRO130, a protective base oil and FILASATIN Satin Finish Protective Wax.
