Dirty grout joints

Porcelain and ceramic

fughesporcheDirt naturally accumulates in the grout joints between tiles, turning them black and unhygienic.

To clean floor tile joints, we recommend using a non-aggressive alkaline product like FILAPS87 Heavy Duty Cleaner diluted 1:5 - 1:10. Scrub vigorously with an abrasive pad and rinse thoroughly.

For wall tile joints, use the handy FILAGROUT NET Grout Cleaner. Spray it directly on the grout and let sit for a few seconds. Scrub with an abrasive pad or brush and rinse with plenty of water.

For tough stains, wash with DETERDEK Grout Haze Remover diluted 1:10. Let the product sit for a few minutes, then rub vigorously with an abrasive pad or large brush. Remove the residue with a cloth or wet vac and rinse with plenty of water.

Once the surface is clean and dry, you can protect the joints with FILAGROUT PROOF Grout Sealer.
