Fila has been shortlisted for an award in two categories of The Tile Association Awards 2017.  They include the ‘Best Environmental Initiative’ category and ‘Best Ancillary Product’.  The overall winner in each category will be announced at TTA Gala Awards night in May.

Fila’s eco nomination spans its whole production, from the selection of raw materials and production methods, to the safeguarding of health in the workplace.  Fila’s Green Action umbrella includes its ‘Green Line’ range which spans from universal cleaners and sealers, to liquid waxes and trouble-shooting stain removers.  Recent launches include a water-based in-line treatment that brings eco-friendly ‘food-safe’ surface treatment to the source and solvent-free HYDROREP ECO, a water-repellent protector for outdoor surfaces.

In the ancillary product category, NO RUST demonstrates the breadth of Fila’s range and its innovative product development. The new trouble-shooting treatment restores surfaces marked by old or new rust or ‘oxide deposits’.  Unlike many traditional removers, the treatment has a non-acid formulation, so can safely be used on all surfaces, with outstanding results.
