We were pleased to support this year’s Stone Federation Golf Day, held at The Drift Golf Club in East Horsley, Surrey, on Friday, the 6th of June.

Co-designed in 1975 by legendary English professional golfer Sir Henry Cotton, a three-time Open Championship winner, alongside golf architect Robert Sandow, The Drift provided a fitting backdrop for a day centred on skill, precision and industry connection. Set within mature oak woodland, the 18-hole, par-73 course is known for its narrow, tree-lined fairways and strategic water hazards, rewarding accuracy as much as distance.

As a key date in the natural stone calendar, the Golf Day brought members and guests together for time away from site visits, specification meetings and project schedules, creating space for conversation, networking and a little healthy competition on the course.

Being part of industry gatherings like this feels like a natural fit for the FILA team. Through our work in protection, cleaning and maintenance, we continue to support the people who specify, install, restore and care for surfaces across a wide range of projects.

This year, FILA Solutions sponsored the Ladies’ and Men’s Longest Drive competitions. Congratulations go to Laurel B. of Simbi Ltd, who took the ladies’ prize, and Michael Lees, who claimed the men’s.
