FILA UK was proud to support the 2026 Solus Golf Day as one of the event sponsors.

Held at the London Golf Club on 9 July, the event brought together 92 golfers from businesses across the UK, reflecting the strong relationships that exist throughout the construction and surface sectors. The warm, clear conditions provided an ideal backdrop for the competition and helped create an enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day.

For FILA, the event offered another valuable opportunity to strengthen a longstanding partnership with Solus while spending time with customers, colleagues and other industry professionals in a more informal setting.

 

 

Horizon Tiling finished the day as the winning four-ball team, while Darren Wickens of DMC Tiling was named the overall winner. Marcus Greening of Enaflo Interiors also claimed the Nearest the Pin charity prize, which formed part of the day’s fundraising for Best Mates #WeGotYa. 

By incorporating the charity element into the event, Solus gave players, guests and sponsors the opportunity to come together for an important cause. A special mention also goes to charity representative Carl McCulloch and everyone who contributed throughout the day.

Commenting on the event, Martin Ballard, Country Coordinator, UK & Ireland at FILA, thanked Solus for hosting another excellent Golf Day. “We look forward to the 2027 Solus Golf Day and to continuing FILA’s support for the event.”
