This striking building was conceived with environmental excellence at its core, achieving a BREEAM Excellent rating, an EPC A rating, and WELL Gold certification, alongside a WiredScore Platinum rating for digital connectivity. From FSC-certified timber to limestone-clad columns, every material was carefully chosen to minimise environmental impact, achieving an impressively low embodied carbon figure of under 600 kgCO₂e/m².
To enhance the durability of the internal Mocca Crème limestone cladding and Domus porcelain flooring, our surface care solutions were chosen by the project team to support long-term performance and ease of maintenance.
This project is an excellent example of how surface care products can contribute to broader sustainability goals, not just in terms of low emissions, but in extending the life and appearance of premium materials. By specifying protective treatments and gentle maintenance solutions early in the process, the project team has ensured the integrity of the finishes while reducing the need for harsh chemicals or premature replacement.
MP90 ECO XTREME, our water- and oil-repellent protector, was recommended for the limestone finishes. With extremely low VOC emissions and certification from EMICODE EC1 Plus and Indoor Air Comfort Gold, it supports both aesthetic integrity and sustainability goals. It offers invisible protection against stains and facilitates easier day-to-day cleaning, particularly in high-traffic commercial environments such as reception areas and lift lobbies.
For the porcelain flooring, DETERDEK PRO was chosen for the post-installation clean. This buffered acid cleaner is designed to remove site residues and grout haze without compromising surrounding materials or impacting grout lines. It's safe, effective, and helps deliver a flawless handover finish, essential in a premium development like Stonecutter.
For ongoing cleaning, CLEANER PRO is recommended as a pH-neutral, biodegradable detergent suitable for both natural stone and porcelain surfaces. Its gentle formulation makes it ideal for regular maintenance while safeguarding the existing surface treatments.
